Our membership is £20 a year, our members are one big family and we have children and dogs at our camps.
We expect our members to be team players and our members are expected to do as many events as possible, all our events are long weekends, you must be able to travel as our events are in ipswich, surrey, sussex, essex and kent areas.
We are very fussy about period correctness, clothing etc must be 100% correct at all times, it can be a very expensive hobby as our clothing has to be made, and the white canvas tents are a must and also expensive. We can lend people clothing to start with but after that it isnt cheap.
We dont tolerate gossips or trouble makers, and anyone who causes a problem is asked to leave.
We dont have a committee, just Simon and Kim who run the group and a couple of key members who help us out.
We never sugar coat re-enactment, it is a serious and expensive hobby, more of a way of life.
